Prompt template
Plant care prompt — copy, paste, build
A polished prompt for a native plant care app — your plant collection, watering and fertilizing schedules, photo growth logs, and push reminders. Designed for the camera-first, reminder-heavy mobile use case.
The prompt
Build a native iOS and Android plant care app with: (1) a plants tab with a grid of plant cards showing name, species, last-watered, and a "due today" badge, (2) a plant detail screen with hero photo, watering and fertilizing intervals, growth photo log with date stamps, and notes, (3) an "add plant" screen with name, species (free-text or pick from a 50-plant seed list), watering interval in days, and a photo via Expo ImagePicker, (4) a today tab listing all plants due for care today with one-tap "log watered" buttons, (5) configurable push reminders for each plant. Use Expo, React Navigation, twrnc for styling, AsyncStorage for plants and care events, Expo ImagePicker for the hero photo + growth log, and Expo Notifications for reminders. Tone: green palette, soft photography emphasis, dark mode option.

Why this prompt works in AppGenie
Plant apps are camera- and notification-heavy — both areas where Snack live preview can mislead. AppGenie's validator + autofill pipeline make sure Expo ImagePicker and Expo Notifications are pinned correctly so the photo log and reminders work first try.

Does the prompt include a plant identifier?
The Pro variant scaffolds the camera capture wiring as a placeholder. The actual identification model (e.g. PlantNet API, Pl@ntNet) is left as an explicit follow-up so you can pick a provider with the licensing terms you want.
Can reminders be per-plant?
Yes. Each plant gets its own scheduled local notification based on its watering interval, so the "due today" tab is always accurate.
